This vaccination schedule is designed to protect resident and visiting horses from diseases in this local area as well as the diseases that can be brought in by visiting horses. This program is based on nationally accepted standards and then adapted to this area by a local veterinarian. Optional vaccines may be a good idea for your horses, but may not be for all horses.
Vaccines have different durations of protection. Once that protection time is passed the horse should receive another vaccine. Protection durations are listed for each vaccine.
Please consult with your local vet regarding what vaccines are suitable and needed for your horse as this may vary between each horse.
All horses visiting the center should be up to date on de-worming.
